What Clutchat is
Clutchat (“the Service”) is this website together with the Clutchat Discord bot. On the website you can register for tournaments, check in and report results, make brackets and keep a public profile with your ratings. Server admins can also use the bot to run competitive formats — tournaments and team entries, clans and clan fights, duels, weekly scrims and server leaderboards — inside their own Discord servers. By signing in here or adding the bot to a server, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You sign in with Discord, with Google, or with a one-time code sent to your email address. All three lead to the same single Clutchat account, and you are responsible for activity that happens through it — including keeping control of whichever mailbox or provider account you sign in with.
You must meet the minimum age required to use an online service in your country. Where you sign in with Discord, or take part through a server running the bot, you must also comply with Discord’s Terms of Service.
XP, ratings and other in-game numbers
XP, levels, ratings, Elo and every other in-game number exist only inside the Service. They are not money, hold no real-world value, cannot be sold, transferred outside the Service or redeemed for anything outside it, and may be adjusted, reset or removed to correct mistakes, abuse or bugs.
Clan coins (virtual currency)
Clans in a server running the bot hold clan coins, a virtual game currency. Clan coins are earned only by playing — daily check-ins, clan fights, weekly quests and contracts, and season and clan cup finishes — and can be spent only inside the Service, at fixed prices, on clan cosmetics and conveniences such as card themes, role colors, renames and member slots. Clan coins:
- have no real-world value and are not money, property or a stored-value product;
- cannot be bought with money, and there is no way to pay for them;
- cannot be sold, transferred between clans or players, or exchanged for money, goods or anything outside the Service;
- are never won or lost on chance.
We, and a server’s admins within their server, may grant, adjust, reset or remove clan coins at any time — for example to correct a mistake, reverse abuse or rebalance the game. If the bot leaves a server or a clan is closed, its coins end with it.
No real money
Clutchat is purely competitive. The Service does not offer real-money play, betting or wagering on matches, paid entry to any event, or cash prizes, and nothing in it can be bought or sold for money. You may not use the Service — including the bot in your own server — to organise, advertise or settle real-money wagers, paid-entry events or cash-prize events. Tournaments, scrims, duels or clans found doing so may be removed.
Content you post
You are responsible for what you post: team and clan names, profile details, result reports and the evidence you submit in a dispute. It must follow our community guidelines. You keep ownership of it, and you give us permission to store and display it as part of the Service — a tournament page shows a team name on its bracket, and a public profile shows the player’s games and ratings. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the guidelines.
Advertising on this website
This website is ad-supported: advertising is what keeps Clutchat free to use. Ads are served by Google and its partners, not chosen by us — we don’t endorse the advertisers, and anything you buy from one is a matter between you and them. Our Privacy Policy explains what advertising cookies do and how to switch personalised ads off. Blocking ads doesn’t cost you access to anything, but please don’t try to interfere with, spoof or automate ad requests on the site.
Fair play
You agree not to:
- cheat, exploit bugs, or manipulate matches, results or ratings;
- sell, buy or trade clan coins, clans, accounts or anything else from the Service for real money or anything of value, or offer to;
- harass other players, or post content — in a team or clan name, a profile, a dispute or a message the bot relays — that is abusive, hateful, sexual or illegal;
- automate, scrape or overload the Service, or probe it for vulnerabilities;
- impersonate other players, server admins or the Clutchat team.
Content you post through a Discord server must also follow Discord’s Community Guidelines. Server admins run their own communities — they may have additional rules, and results they report or correct are theirs to manage.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or permanently remove access — including resetting stats, ratings or rankings — for accounts that break these terms. You can stop using the Service at any time by signing out, and by removing the bot from any servers you added it to.
The service is provided as-is
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Brackets, stats and feeds may occasionally be delayed, wrong or unavailable — we work to fix issues quickly but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is free, and to the maximum extent the law allows we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, results or rankings, arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date; continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
